Katy Perry será seguramente la gran ganadora el 28 de Agosto en los MTV Video Music Awards , ya que tiene 9 nominaciones , mientras que Lady Gaga sólo posee 3 nominaciones.
Katy Perry está nominada en categorías como : Vídeo del Año y Mejor Vídeo de Artista Femenina (ambos por Fireworks) Mejor Vídeo Pop (por Last Friday Night) o Mejor Fotografía (por Teenage Dream).



Katy también domina otras categorías como , como Mejor Colaboración, Mejor Dirección Artística, Mejor Dirección, Mejor Montaje y Mejores Efectos Especiales.


Adele de cerca con 7 nominaciones , Bruno Mars tiene 4 nominaciones y , Thirty Seconds To Mars , Lady Gaga , y Nicki Minaj tien 3 nominaciones.
